Introduction

The GMAT is a standardized test widely used as part of the admissions process for business schools globally. It evaluates your analytical writing, quantitative, verbal, and integrated reasoning skills. The test is developed and administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and is designed to predict how students will perform academically in MBA programs.

The GMAT consists of four sections: Analytical Writing Assessment, Quantitative Reasoning, Verbal Reasoning, and Integrated Reasoning. The test duration is approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes, including two optional breaks. Note-taking is allowed during the test.

The GMAT is primarily a computer-based test (CBT) available at testing centers worldwide.

Score validity is 5 years.

The GMAT is offered primarily in a computer-based format worldwide. There is no paper-based version of the GMAT. A unique feature of the GMAT is the Online GMAT option, which allows you to take the exam from the comfort of your home while maintaining stringent proctoring standards to ensure test integrity.
